Community Impact Award

A couple of weeks ago, at the annual Xero Awards (think Oscars for accountants!) Kung Fu Accounting won the first ever “community impact award” for our efforts over the last year supporting our friends, clients, local community and people across the UK and the world!

As the world’s only ICAEW Chartered, #bcorpuk certified accountant, we have always run our company as a force for good. But this external acknowledgement of our social impact achievements through the pandemic still came as something of a surprise!

Some of our highlights include;
– creating a community fund to support local social enterprises through Covid
– launching an “ethical payslip” service (https://lnkd.in/dyJaCee), and
– donating 113 Madlug C.I.C bags to children in care.

In due course we’ll share our full impact statement for 2020, but for now, there’s probably another furlough claim to process!
